Looking for pickers in greensboro nc

Anyone out there who has an interest in getting together to jam in the Greensboro, NC area? #I am very new to mandolin and have been playing fiddle for about a year and a half--mostly old-time tunes, but I am venturing into a little bluegrass now as well. #

Your best place to start would be High Lonesome Strings. It's a bluegrass organization based out of Greensboro and has monthly gatherings. Then there's a jam session in Liberty on Saturdays (at least there was) but you'll need to ask about that one. I can get there but I wouldn't want to be giving directions.

I'm about an hour or so southeast of you (just SW of Pittsboro).

Thanks for the info., Greg. I plan on attending the High Lonesome Strings get together this Wednesday. I also got a PM from someone in the area who wants to play.
I'd love to meet up sometime if you are game.
