Thread: Tuner can't "hear" g

    My clip on tuner does this sometimes, it's even worse tuning the low C on my mandola. I move the clip around from the bridge to one of the tuning key knobs. If that does not do it, I unhook the clip and use the built in mic pickup.

    Take the batteries out for a day. It will adjust itself. It may not solve your G problem, but it most likely will.

    My "Meisel MCT-7L" Clip-On will give me that same display on the "G" string (reading between D and G) but if I pick the "G" string a little further up the neck and a little harder it'll straighten itself out. It doesn't happen all of the time but on occassion I know how to quickly remedy the slight problem. Other than that no other bad issues are going on with this tuner.

    Still think it's the best tuner that I've used yet. # #
