My friend Tim and I filmed a take of his original composition called Morro Glenn, and put up a version on Youtube. #It's our first serious video attempt, so any comments are appreciated.

I guess the video was offline for a little while, but it appears to work again. Youtube issue, it appears.

I like it! I get the impression that your friend is a good deal better than the average banjo player. Great stuff!

Listening to(and watching) this is an inspiration to me! Your sound is great, your playing is so clear and clean. Thanks for sharing with us! It's refreshing to hear the banjo played in this beautiful style. You both work together very well musically. Please record more in the future!

If Bach had been a bluegrass musician, his fugues would be like this, I suppose. And if all banjo players could play like this one, there would be no banjo jokes.
Very well played, very intricately composed (did I recognize a part of "Crucified" from the Army of Lovers in the second half? ).

I also like the black nut on the mandolin, gives it a much more elegant look.

Nice job- it amazes me how the banjo really worked in the classical format.

    Everyone,
Thanks for the kind comments, Tim and I both appreciate it.

crazylotrfan: the mando is a Breedlove.
bertramH: neither of us have heard of 'Crucified', but now we'll take a look!

We have several more videos in various stages of production and planning. I'll post up when they go live.

    Cheers
