Not real fussy on the music genre. My daughter plays piano, but can not stand bluegrass or maybe it's just me playing the mandolin. Wanted something that we could do together. Might help her change her mind about the mandolin.
If she likes classical music, then the Beethove pieces are nice. Some are easier than others, but they should be within reach for the intermediate mandolinist/pianist, unless you like them on the fast side.
There are tons of other pieces for mandolin/piano by Calace, Munier and others, but they can be quite demanding, technically.
Of course, these tunes would require that you can read standard notation. If thatīs the case, the options are limitless if you consider the vast literature for violin/piano, which is not limited to classical - choro, tango, Western /Northern European folk music, Eastern European, Klezmer, bossa nova... you will find more books with violin/piano arrangements than you could ever hope to play in a lifetime.
If you donīt read standard and your daughter cannot play without notation things get a bit more complicated...

You can also play violin and piano sonatas, just adapt the violin part as needed. Plus as stated, there are many books for violin for all sorts of musical styles.

I was sort of thinking along the same track Dave. She could play melody in her right hand, right out of the Fiddler's Fake Book, depending upon the complexity. If there were a desire to trade leads/melody back and forth, then go back to comp chords for accompaniment.

Check out Jamie Masefield/The Jazz Mandolin Project's release of Deep Forbidden Lake...Its been ages since I've last listened but from what I recall there are some really pretty tunes on there w/ mandolin and piano. I'll have to resurrect that album myself...
Also, I really enjoy the mandolin/piano piece on Goat Rodeo Sessions too.
