Hey! I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard or heard of the band Sothern Heart. Whats the band like? Are they good? What do they lack? What type of songs do they do? That information would help. Thanks!

    Web site here.

Apparently they've recorded a song called "Long Black Vail" -- I think it's about an oil spill at a ski resort, or something like that.

I just had a listen through the link above & i think that they sound good, especially the vocal harmony between the two lady members. Instrumentally they come together pretty well also. Maybe not up there YET with the top bands, but more than competent.
If they were playing near me (some hope !!) i'd go along to listen,no problem. All bands need our support,
    Saska
    Weber F-5 'Fern'.
    Lebeda F-5 "Special".
    Stelling Bellflower BANJO
    Tokai - 'Tele-alike'.
    Ellis DeLuxe "A" style.

They play mostly in Alabama, Tennesee, and Georgia. They're going to be at Foggy Hollow Bluegrass festival on the 19th.
