This is my new Gold Tone GME-4 that I just got today a long side my Eastwood Guitars mandocaster. I got it from Janet Davis Music. So far I love it but I have yet to plug it in. I will do so later tonight. I also got a new VOX amPlug that I'm hoping to use with it a lot.

Congrats -- that is very cool. I especially like the blonde finish and maple fretboard combination, and the oversized body.

Please be sure to keep us posted on your continuing impressions of it.

Well its official I love it :D
I plugged it into my Roland MICRO CUBE last night an tried it out.
I can't wait to show it to my mandolin teacher at my next lesson.
The VOX amPlug didn't work out as well. I got some hissing with it

When I showed my new GME-4 to my teacher I think that she really liked it.
She said she could not beleave how quite it is but I think that had more to do with her amp we were using and had it set. It sounds OK on my Rolands Micro Cube.
The one kind of a problem that I found was covering 2 strings with one finger. They tend to shoot out from under it on each side I think it might be due to the radiused fingerboard and more space.
