First let me say that I have NFI in either Greg Boyd's or with Andrew Mowry mandolins.

I had the opportunity to play (for a few days) the blonde Mowry two-point that is currently for sale at Boyd's. #Ted, Mr. Jazz Mando-Head, sent it to me after he reviewed it. #I put a new set of J74's on it after is was delivered to me. #It is a killer mandolin and is worth every penny and beyond. #It has fantastic bluegrass chop, great thumper low end and is crystal clear up on the EE strings. #Harmonics at the 12th fret were dead on and loud. #The neck profile is very, very comfortable. #Fit and varnish finish are perfect. #A very versatile mandolin for all types of music.

Andrew is building first class mandolins, and you get a lot of bang for the buck with one of his creations. #It was difficult to ship this one back to Andrew and had it not been for my renewed road bike (bicycle) passion and all of the expense associatated with that hobby, it would have found a home right here in Manhattan, Kansas.
