That is a beauty. Can you post a sound clip? Also, its hard to tell from the pic, but it appears as if you left the neck unfinished, as is done with violins. Maybe its just the light.
Jeff, it's just the light, it's Lacquer finished all over. I'll post a sound clip if I get a chance.

The view of the unfinished (inside surface) purple heart back through the sound hole in contrast with the black top is especially cool. Beautiful instrument.
