better yet try this. Just go to the source. I am not sure how many times I have said this BUT why keep looking for dealers when all you have to do is email Michel directly, tell him what you want, he will email you right back with a price with shipping included and paypal address and have them shipped out to you probably the next day. Mine get here in about 1 week. Now please, everybody, stop asking where you can get a Wegen pick!

Direct link to Wegen Pick website

PS: I just got some custom made M120's that are the bomb-diggity

Speed holes work great, but if you really want to go fast you have to shave your strumming arm every day.:p

I always HATED those large triangular picks for playing guitar, but when I started mando, I tried about every pick I could find, including tortis, etc. The large TF 140 (with "speed holes") turned out to be my favorite by a long shot. I've even started liking it for guitar.

You only need shave your arm to increase speed on the pick if you think you will crash a lot and need to have the string dirt scraped off your arm before bandaging.

Got mine from Charley's Guitars in Dallas ... charleysguitars.com
The M100 works for me. I've tried many but I really like this one.

Has anyone tried the picks from www.mandolinbridge.com?

They are about half price of the Wegens and the only difference I can see is that they are polished. #It only takes a few strokes with a nail file to duplicate the M150.

The only difference I can find is the price, plus they're made in the USA.

Actually the Wegens are 3/$15 (Elderly). #Five bucks each w/o postage.

I got four for $8 plus two bucks shipping from Steve at mandolinbridge. #$2.50 apiece, in the mailbox.

They're pretty much like any other pick. There are no "magic bullets".

I really like that speed bevel they put on them. The smoother white ones someone mentioned are ok too (they are a lot like the wegens) but I kinda like that extra grip on the wegen and I like not having to do any fine tuning on them. Guess I'm lazy that way.
