    Hamlett Mandola Sound Clip

A fellow cafe member was gracious enough to host a sound clip for me that was made on my new Hamlett mandola. #(Thanks, John/wayfaringstranger!)

This a new custom order flat-top dola that John Hamlett (sunburst) made.

There are some photos in the post a pic section, and on John's web site (hamlettinstruments.com). #Executed to perfection by Mr. Hamlett, the pics don't show the attention to detail that makes John's work so impressive. #It is a thing of beauty! #

The top color is a lighter shade of the red used on the old Gibson F4s. The back is blonde, to show off an amazing quilted maple supplied by Bruce Harvie. #

And, I guess I should mention that it's not me playing it on the sound clip, it's Daniel Carwile. #(Thanks, Daniel, for taking the time to do this!)

I was just thinking how awesome the playing was, as I read "it's not me playing it on the sound clip, it's Daniel Carwile"
