Are there any regular jams in the Fort Smith, AR area? I will be there in few weeks.

    Kmando,

If you will drive South about an hour to just outside of Waldron, Ark. there is a place called Turkey Track and they are having a festival the 13-16th.

Thanks Ron. I am very familiar with Turkey Track. Been there several times and hope to be there in the Fall. This time however, I will be in Fort Smith after Turkey Track. It's a great pickin though.

Rogers, AR......Hello, I live in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and I think the best jam around is at Rogers, AR. They have it every saturday night in the summer ( end of april to oct.? ) at the Frisco Park in downtown Rogers. From Ft. Smith just go up I-540 until you get to the Rogers/Walnut St. exit and go east until you get to downtown.

It's a great jam. The first time I went, several years ago, there were several hundred people there.

Thanks Nick. I am very familiar with Rogers. My folks have a house out on Beaver Lake just outside of Rogers. Don't know if I can make it on a Sat. night on this trip but will keep that in mind for the future.

It's no regular jam, but Hannah Blaylock and Eden's Edge will be playing at the Riverfront July 12. #They're an Arkansas band with a fantastic mandolin player and a good, modern bluegrass sound. #Check them out if you have the time. #Do it quick, though, because the dobro player is already in Nashville, and the singer and mandolin-er will be moving there soon for instant musical fame and fortune.
