    Hey Folks,
I'm just a banjo player, but I'd like to let you all know that the Jaybirds will be performing in the Pacific NW in support of our new album, "Stellar Jays". We are very much looking forward to the release of this album, and hope to see some listers at the shows.

    I have seen them once.........

and would go back in a heatbeat to see them again!

Are there any plans for the "correct coast" (east)?

    You gotta be kidding!

That's why we live here in the Pacific Northwest - just so we can see JR and his Jaybirds so often.

Nick, you're not "just a banjo player" -- I've admired your contribution to Jaybirds' music very much! Looking forward to the band's tour of New England . . . -- Paul

Ok, I did what I should have done in the first place and checked the website. Actually, there are some dates in So.Cal. There is also Grass Valley, and I've wanted to go to that festival for some time. I definitely want to hear the Jaybirds live, love their albums, and Jon is my ideal for mandolin tone and style.

Kinda like saying John's mandolin is just one of those old F-style thingies, built by old Lloyd Whats-His-Name.

Yep. Unless I'm missing something there's no Nfld show booked? I'm in Nova Scotia anyway just missing the point?

"Stellar Jays", indeed. The ornithology pun does not go unnoticed. -- Paul
