I'm thinking of swapping out the nickel hardware on my F5 for gold and would really like to use the Gotoh tuners with the ebony buttons. #I believe the tuners on there now are Schallers. #Will the Gotohs fit without any mods or will new holes have to be drilled?

    Thanks,

Depends on the make and model. I have swapped out Gotohs, Schallers, Grovers, Gibson Grovers, Waverly's - they all seem to have different screw placement. Most of the time, it's one or two screws that have to be drilled, or filled/redrilled.
