Come hither to go yonder

what monroe album or compilation has "come hither to go yonder" on it. that is one of my favorite monroe instrumentals and i haven't been able to find it on iTunes. i have 2 monroe collections (anthology and the legend lives on), there are a little under a hundred songs (96 to be exact) between the two and "come hither" isn't on either of them.

also, what key is it in (or better yet does anyone have the chords)?

I used to play it in a loud rockin' surf band in the key of Amin all the way through, and it rocked...

Those stops just scream "Ventures", complete with choreography....

Check this out and you'll get the idea....

There are some live Monroe versions kicking around that just kick butt...
Seattle, WA in November of 1982 comes to mind...

i'm gonna have to invest in that, it will be along wait though. i bet if a person could go through and learn every song on those CD's, they might have Big Mon's style down-pat.

....what do you mean "then minor" ?,...it is all MAJOR !,....simply put---the 1,4, and 5 chords are what is used ! (A, D, E)

Nope. Listen to the recording, the accompaniment (gtr) punches minor chords (Am, Dm) on the B part. It's what gives the tune its flavor. No capo is how it's done.

And looky here: the album liner notes (back of LP) and the record's paper disk both list the wrong song title.

-it was something that was capoed that’s for sure, and maybe the guitarist was playing an Am, or A#m and maybe he was tuned EADGBE.
But for sure, did you guys notice the dark expression on Bill’s face when the so called guitarist played that chord?
Bill was like, ‘hey! that should have been major!’
