I have a Martin Backerpacker mandolin (among others). #I want to replace the bridge. #The factory spaced the string notches too far apart, so the G strings tend to roll apart when fretted. #The bridge is low, flat, and wood. #Does anyone know where I could get a replacement bridge?

BTW, C.F. Martin has been no help at all. #They have ignored my e-mails.

    Thank you,

You might check with Steve Smith at Cumberland Acoustic.

Have you tried calling Martin? It is easier to fail to answer an email than a phone call.

Fill one notch in each course and recut them. Or, skin off the top of the bridge and cut entirely new notches. Add a shim under the bridge if needed.
