Dan beimborn and paul kelly albums

Does anybody know when the new Dan Beimborn album will be available? It looks like Dan posts regularly to this forum, so I would guess he'd know!

I'd also really like a copy of "Shatter the Calm". I listened to the samples on his website and it sounds amazing. Anyone know where I might be able to pick up a copy in the US?

I'm also after a copy of Paul Kelly's "A Mandolin Album." And does anybody know if he's anywhere near releasing another album that was mentioned in one of the threads?

Hi telemando,

The disk is mastered and the artwork is 99% complete- just finishing up some paperwork for it. I'll reprint "Shatter" too, both disks should be available by December. I was shooting for beginning of November but there are always delays, it appears!

I ordered the Paul Kelly CD from Malgamu Music. Check the mp3 section on this website for Paul Kelly and follow the links to the Malgamu Music order form.

I second the recommendations for Dan's and Paul's recordings -- great musicians both, and nice people to boot.

I recently received a correspondence from Paul. He does not yet have a release day for his newest studio CD; he has been busy touring with the David Munnely Band this year, and will be doing so through the first quarter or two of 2007.

However, he has a CD/tunebook set expected to be released in December, with 110 ITM tunes recorded on mandolin. It will be released by, and available from, Walton's Music in Dublin. (Note: the date for this project has slid a couple of times at the publisher, but here's hoping that the Christmas release date will remain valid.)

It looks like I'll be visiting Dan's website in December for some Christmas self-gifting. "Torch and Fire" sounds great, and I'm a Tim O'Brien fan, so very cool that he's on it too.

I'll have it available on the web site as soon as I know the delivery date for the CDs. The timing isn't right for it to hit the other distrubutors in time for Christmas but they should have them soon after!
