value of this Kalamazoo?

As some may know I am passively searching for a nice vintage A style mandolin.

I am in a bit of uncharted water here though and I am hoping someone could let me know the fair market value of Kalamazoo mandolins so I don't get hosed should I choose to bid on one.

Any feedback on this issue would be appreciated.

I saw this last night. $400 would not be a bad price to pay from any instrument. However,sometimes what keeps me from bidding is not knowing how much work needs to be performed to get it payable.

I heard a group using one a month ago, but the mandolin player was a full time luthier.
