    In TablEdit (i.e. co-mando.com), what does it mean when you see a curved arrow and a fraction, let's say 1/4? If it was a slide, they would tie two notes on different frets, but this arrow it tied to nothing, just a fraction.

    I think it's a bended note: you fret the note indicated and bend it a fraction.

    Yes, a bend. It is bent up a 1/4 (or whatever fraction is indicated) of a tone relative to the next note above.

    Thank you for the replies. Is this bend done upwards or downwards? Or do I just use my common sense, like it's impossible to bend the G string upwards or the E string downwards.
