Ok, I've got a "stripped" button on my Grovers. The screw is tight but the inside of the button is worn away. I need to replace them. Originally I was going to go with ebony, didn't pan out (I still have a lead on a set that will have to be glued on.) Then I thought lets just get the original pearl. No way, no go, no how. Here's who I've talked to and struck out:

    Grover
    WD Music
    LMI
    Allparts
    Stew-Mac

Anyone have a lead for me?

I think I have a set of standard Grover pearloid buttons. They aren't exactly the same as the Gibson/Grover buttons, but I think they'll fit the shafts.

I just put a new set of Gibson Grovers on my England banjo but they are hard to turn and seem to have a lot of slop in them. The bushings were a bit to small to fit the holes snug and I shimmed them with a piece of heat=shrink tubing. What would make them bind up? Kinda hard to tuned and a bear to replace strings. Any help is appreciated.
