    I just picked this instrument up the other day. Wow. I haven't put it down since.
    It is a very early American Conservatory brand mandolinetto - 13-1/8 scale and plays like a dream

    Looks very nice! I have a Howe Orme mandolinetto myself. Im curious, how deep is the body on that one? Mine is 2 7/8th with a scale length of approx. 14". I love the tone! It's not as loud as a arched topped but plenty loud for guitar mando duets.

    The body is 2-7/8 deep and the top is flat. I agree, it is a great duet instrument. I'm also looking for a Howe.
