With the dawning of the Loar F5 and continuing through the 20s, 30s, etc. Gibson gave us the F5. Who was the first "Brand Name" company (i.e., not an independent luthier") that produced/marketed/sold an F5 copy? Was it Epiphone? Was it pre-WWII? Was it any good? Did we have to wait until the 70s to see it to any real extent? I feel like I should have a better sense of this then I do, but alas, I'm clueless. . . . .
