I've heard conflicting tunings, what is Skaggs using on those recordings?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    I assume it's:

    E strings - D / A
    A strings - remain same
    D strings - remain same
    G strings - A / F#

Skaggs playing Monroe; Skaggs would have only tuned his July 9th the way Monroe retuned his mandolin!!!!
