Very happy with the sound and hopefully you in SC will see it around.

Very cool Keith! Like that blonde finish and flame. What kind of tailpiece is that?

It's one of my custom tailpieces I make.

It looks pretty clean from here. Good one Keith.
Very nice and clean work Keith!
One question: in the side image of the scroll it looks like wood has been added above and below the main, flamed, portion of the side (sorry of these terms aren't terribly accurate). Is this typical of how the scrolls are done? I've never noticed it before--probably because all of tha staining usually covers it up!

There is no wood added. What you see is the top or back plates thickness. As the curve of the scroll climbs away from the joint to the side wood it gets thicker and since the binding is a constant height and follows the curve you see the exposed top/back plate. Yes this a standard construction technique.

Ah! Thanks for clearing that up.

Beauteous. I love the headstock design.
That IS a neat headstock design. #I believe Ken Ratcliff used to have a similar one on his earlier Silver Angel F-style mandolins - and I always liked that. #Didn't look so 'Gibson-esque.' # #Doug Edwards - Silver Angel #99 - could probably confirm that!

That would be this one.
I really like everything about Keith's mandolin. A true work of art.
