Thread: O Holy Night (solo mandolin instrumental)

Default O Holy Night (solo mandolin instrumental)

Here's my latest instrumental mandolin holiday offering: O Holy Night. I thought it would be a fun challenge to try and come up with a solo version of this song that captures the beautiful melody and quintessential arpeggiated accompaniment part. Hopefully I did justice to this extremely well-known and beloved Christmas song with my little mandolin.

Thanks for listening, hope you all like it!

What an arrangement! You've created something wonderful there.

Lovely arrangement of one of my favourite carols.
Robert Johnson's mother, describing blues musicians:
"I never did have no trouble with him until he got big enough to be round with bigger boys and off from home. Then he used to follow all these harp blowers, mandoleen (sic) and guitar players."
