Looks like too tight a fit to me. I love Sam's cases and own three, but the mandola looks too close to the edge for safe shipping (or dropping)!
Looks a bit tight by the scroll and points.
My Mando Peg has more room around those delicate spots, which is why I use it instead of a Calton.
