Default Eastman MD305 With Added Abbreviated Pickguard

If anyone was curious what a MD305 looks like with a pickguard, here's mine. Art Deco pickguard from Hill Country Strings, definitely improves my picking (I'm a planter) and I just love how it looks.

Im not a big pick guard fan and don't use them, BUT I have to say that is a really cool design.
It looks really good on that mandolin, and blends in very nicely.
    Kinda sharp.

That one looks low enough to stay out of the way. As a reformed pinky planter, I started with them for the same reason. Now my pick hand fingers just barely brush the fingerrest as I play, but it helps me register my pick depth without thinking about it. FWIW, all of mine intersect the fretboard extension at least 1/8" below the frets and angle down at 15º.
