    Default Weird bouzouki-dulcimer on SGW

This thing is super weird - 3 course, 4 string with frets tuned to a scale like an appalachian dulcimer, but a body like a pancake mandolin, reminiscent of a Flatiron "bouzouki" (octave mandolin).

Anyone know what it actually is?

The Olympia Dulcimer Co. used to build what it called "Walkabout" dulcimers that looked a lot like this. Most Walkabouts, however, had six paired strings and a pin bridge. But they have the same headstock shape. This is probably a knockoff of an Olympia Walkabout.
