Thread: Hard case for Tenor Guitar

Default Hard case for Tenor Guitar

    Hi all.

Anyone have any recommendations for a hard case for a short scale tenor? It's an ozark 3372 and doesn't come with any case or bag. I'm not really interested in gig bags, I've had a look at the Gator 3/4 case and the Ashbury Tenor case which might work, but wanted to check if there's anything I'm missing or if anyone had any experience to offer.

    Thanks

My Fletcher tenor was delivered in a smallish TKL hard shell case and Jamie inserted a covered piece of foam or some kind of pad for the bottom/tailpiece end of the short scale tenor. I wish I had the same application for the headstock.Click image for larger version.

Overall, the tenor stays relatively secure in the case.

BTW, Jamie builds a wonderful short scale tenor and it’s a joy to play!

Thanks for your thoughts Jim, I've gone with the Gator 3/4 and will feed back how it goes
