    Default Amsterdam picking?

Long shot, but I will be in Amsterdam this week (1/8 - 1/13); if anyone wants to get together and play bluegrass, old-time, or anything else, let me know.

I was going to suggest Mulligans, since their Wednesday session which was usually hosted by singer/songwriters Margot and/or Sophie from The Lasses would certainly accommodate some mandolin breaks in among the tunes, and they are looking at having bluegrass jams at weekends - however they're closed until 18th Jan.

a more open style Session on Wednesday night, (from 20.00), with various songs & tunes, including Celtic, Folk, Pop, Bluegrass, Americana etc. from our regular musicians and some surprising guests

Ah too bad, thanks for the pointers. Any chance you know any of the folks involved so I could reach out?

No I don't really know them, I just drop in and play in the sessions whenever I'm in Amsterdam and they seem to vaguely remember me.

I see these guys, Barnyard Tea, were playing at Mulligans last month, so maybe you could try them and see if they can point you in the right direction.
Dunno if they're in Amsterdam, (although Mulligans posters describe them as "local") but they seem to be up for a jam:

Don't know if anything is going on this week, but sent Paul van Vlodrop a message, if there's something, he knows.
