Newish player here. Can anyone send me Mando chords that work for "This is Me" by the band Girlyman. Only guitar chords on line and the corresponding mandolin chords seem to be in a different key. Thanks

Chord names are the same on any instrument. Play the guitar chord names on your mandolin.

The guitar chords online say capo on the fourth fret and the first chord is a G. Without a capo that’s a B.

Allows you transpose up or down in half steps. So you transpose up "+4" to be the equivalent of the capo.

    B E G#m F# G#m E B
This old highway is just a lonely patch of blue and gray

    B E G#m F# G#m E B
And late at night my memory obfuscates my line of sight

    B E G#m F# G#m E B
And in my mind I really had no choice, the stars were cold

    B E G#m F# G#m E B
In my eyes they hung there in dark skies, just still and old

    Or use a capo

The video that Jeff posted is actually in C. Play the same progression, but a half step higher.

    C F Am G Am F C

It works quite nicely on octave. One way, try it with no capo, and use simply an F# note- no F# chord.
Then use inversions of the other chords to follow the descent in the melody.

Descending B,E, G#…etc. doublestops works too.
Guitar chords are easier, but with mando you to be more melodic.
    Good luck!
