Thread: New style Armrest

    Default New style Armrest

I carved this armrest and mounted it to my mandolin with an old fiddle chinrest. It cradles my arm and pivots. For years, my fingers would tingle from pinched nerves after playing for a while and at times my elbow would get tendonitis. This seems to have fixed it.

I’ve only made one mandolin armrest and the viola chin rest is the one that fits.

Great idea, an armrest that pivots!
