There's a lesser Mid-Missouri M-0 in the classifieds for $545 shipped. It has been listed for ten days.

1924 Gibson A Snakehead
2005 National RM-1
2007 Hester A5
2009 Passernig A5
2015 Black A2-z
2010 Black GBOM
2017 Poe Scout
2014 Smart F-Style Mandola
2018 Vessel TM5
2019 Hogan F5
Keep in mind that the M-0 was Big Muddy's cheapest mandolin. Mike builds a few different entry-level models nowadays, but they're all priced between $515 and $530, brand new. I'm not surprised the guy trying to sell a twenty-year-old model for more is having trouble finding a buyer.
On the other hand, your M-4 is the second most expensive mandolin Mike makes. A new M-4 is $915, so keep that in mind when finding comparable listings.
1913 Gibson F2 (Blacktop)
2022 Big Muddy Mandola (M-16, Ziricote back and sides, Adirondack top)
2022 Kentucky KM-120 (Elevated fretboard conversion)
1940s Kay Banjolin
1930s Martin Style 0 Ukulele
1920s Vega Senator Plectrum Banjo (GDAE octave mando tuning)
I would say depending upon condition of a mandolin that is still produced, the starting point for an excellent condition used mandolin would be 70% of a new one's price.
Dings and issues lower the value from there.
