So I know everyone has been waiting with baited breath for the thrilling conclusion to this saga...

happy to report that I am now the owner of a lovely Collings MT model with a glossy brown finish. Saw it on a listing here in the classifieds from someone who was looking to downgrade, so traded my Eastman MD315 plus cash for it. We both feel we got solid deals. The Mando Cafe strikes again! Thanks for everyone for their help... now I just gotta practice and live up to this beautiful instrument.

Nice mandolin. Glad that it worked out. I notice that you have a cast aluminum "Dixie" banjo uke too.

Yea part of a string of recent oddball acquisitions on my part... don't know much about it really. Also picked up a Regal Octophone!
