Default Watchhouse (formerly Mandolin Orange) has new duo recording

They aren't all mandolin tunes, but you're likely to enjoy Andrew and Emily's newly released stripped-down versions of their year-old Watchhouse recordings.

I'm sure the artists formerly known as Mandolin Orange have been an excellent addition to the Punch Brothers' latest American Acoustic shows.

I liked the new album but wished there had been more violin.

I’m with you, Doug. More fiddle!

Still, I hope they do more duo releases, as that’s the core sound that drew me in.

Not for me. The less fiddling, the better. But, to each his/her own.

    Stay well my friend!

We saw an Andrew Marlin Band show (without her) earlier this year and then saw "Watchhouse" this summer...the latter seemed much like the former, with the addition of Emily mostly as rhythm guitarist and ensemble fiddle player (only a coupla solos) and not a whole lotta singing. I had seen M.O. a time or two in the past when she was featured fiddling and singing more, which I enjoyed and presumed her to be 1/2 of the act. Apparently not-so-much in Watchhouse...
