audible tone difference when compared to my Kimble F, not better or worse, just different. setup is similar to my F with low, easy playing string action, full body notes up and down the fretboard. you couldn't ask for a better sounding/playing mandolin.
16" fretboard radius as does my F and i find i like that a lot(like that in guitars as well). nut width same as my F at 1 3/32". i've found this radius and overall width of the neck to be efficient and natural feeling to play for my fretting fingers.
love the red mahogany color.
huge fan of 2 points and this is slightly different than my Weber 2 point(which i find extremely well placed/shaped for my use). maybe tomorrow i will take a few comparison pics of both and add here. the Weber fits and works for me extremely well-the points on the Kimble look different shape wise and maybe a little different in position but i found them to work fine for me as well.
this is only the 2nd Kimble i've played and i am impressed highly. varnish finish, tuners work smooth and hold tuning.
