    Default 5 string e mando strings....

    would love to hear where folks are sourcing their strings for 5 string electrics...
    especially the wound c,g and d... do you use flat or not, and what brands have worked for you ??

    I’ve used emando.com and Martin had fine service. I have no idea where he sources strings. I’ve also bought individual D’Addario nickel guitar strings from a local guitar shop, choosing all of the individual gauges. Haven’t tried flat wounds yet.

    I’ve found electric strings are much less sensitive to environmental changes.
