    Default New Bern NC

    Hello, I just started my adventures in learning Mandolin and Fiddle. I do play guitar a bit. Just wondering if any others may be interested in a jam. Surprisingly there are no bluegrass or old tyme jams that I can find in the area. Please let me know if anyone in Eastern NC is interested.

    There are/were jams at the back street pub in Beaufort- IMHO worth the drive from New Bern. One of the “great” bars on the eastern seaboard, especially for music people that also are into boats and that lifestyle.
