Post Punch Brothers' "Familiarity" (sheet music and tutorial)

Hey y'all. I've been running around getting ready for 3 weeks on the road but managed to squeeze in another video the YouTube channel.

This time we are taking a look at the mandolin intro for "Familiarity". This is one of the hardest pieces that Chris has written for mandolin and trust me, I've learned most of them..

    Anyway, enjoy

Wow, what an elephant to take a bite out of
I made it through the first 12 measures, which is 12 more measures then I ever thought I would be able to play of Familiarity!
Measures 13 through the end of the 10min23sec will take a bit of work though…
    Thanks!
I should be pickin' rather than postin'

Great etude for learning a arpeggios and a real chord study to verse the student in uncomfortable scale changes. But it ain't one bit hillbilly.

Thanks for taking on some of this stuff! I've been really interested in your NAWWAL book to fill in some missing holes in some of the songs I've learned. It's interesting comparing how differently some of the stuff can be played. And how Thile sometimes plays it in what I consider a much much much more difficult way than is needed lol.
