    Default Austin area teachers

Any recommendations for a teacher in Austin?
Someone in the north Austin/Round Rock area would be great.

    Thanks.

I might suggest you call Fiddler's Green and see if they have any recommendations. They used to have lessons when they were in Austin, not sure if they still do or not now that they've moved.

Billy Bright plays for the band Wood and Wire. I met him at a local festival. Great player and does lessons.

Kym Warner is a great Austin-based player and a working musician. Not sure if he gives lessons but it might be worth a shot asking.

Don’t know if Paul Glasse teaches, but he’d be pretty awesome.

Paul is an excellent teacher and a just a fun person to talk music with. He's down in the Wimberly, Dripping Springs area.

Thanks everyone. I’ve sent Paul messages. While I wait for a reply I’m going through The Complete Mandolinist.
