    Love the look!
I’m intrigued by you saying the maple stood out as harder. Can you describe the outcome vs softer maple and/or your expectations. I (many) enjoy information of the intricacies of mandolin woods and tone.

I was just meaning that some maple I have carved it seemed that my planes would cut it much easier.... This piece was like stone almost... Tone wise I would say maybe a bit punchier?? More volume maybe... Tone is so subjective these days to my ear I like this #37 a bit better than #36 but then again I have had people who played both that liked #36 better than this #37... hahah But I kind of like really throaty "in your face mandolins"
