Jeez I thought somebody at least might be interested in my designs!
The board sometimes moves slow. Looks nice to me! 10 stringer?

no it's 8 string, but I specified a 38 mms nut to give me room for full chords. it has a big body and should be great for song accompaniment
What will the tuning be? 25.6 inch scale is big, no?
Does the photo show your instrument with its finish?

where have all the bouzouki players gone!?
Tell us more. Did it have to ship to get to you or was it local pickup? Have you played that big a scale before or are you in new territory?
I’m uninitiated to bouzouki, is that what this is? Is the headstock ornamentation traditional or builder specific?
Mainly! How does it sound?!
Can you share a clip or video?

Yes I've played a few bouzouki over the last 10 yrs but this is my 1st comission. I worked closely with the luthier, Zdenek Sedil from Czech Republic. He mainly builds renaissance instruments. It's a maple/ovangol back, cedar top with mahagony and maple purfling, mahagony neck. The carved headstock I asked for. he has done both these and flat heads.
let's just say, it's the biggest bouzouki I've ever seen or played, great resonance and I'm very happy with it!
A beauty! Enjoy!

Very cool. I've never played a zouk. I bet it sounds amazing with that big chamber.
Sure does sound cool. Trying to dial in the action, it's a bit high , probably because of the humidity over here compared to where it was built
