    Default Franks' Mandolin Kitchen

Hi fellow mandolin lovers. For some sort of continuity I've decided to start this thread to post my videos. Most all my music is done here in my kitchen. Low tech. Tascam DR07 mk-ll, no effects, for single track/overdubs, and as input to a Nikon D780. I welcome comments, questions, requests,whatever... Thanks for listening and indulging my mandolin infactuation. So here's 3 to kick it off. Thanks "Mandolin Cafe".

So nice to hear/see someone playing truly "musical" tunes without trying to impress everyone with breakneck speed or over-used "bluesy" licks. Man, enough with the same old fiddle tunes!

And what a relaxed, natural right hand! Good music and great playing...

As Nathan said above, I really enjoyed these tunes... thanks for sharing these nice sounds!

I'd like to spend some time in your kitchen over a few cups of Joe and hear this music in person. Sounds wonderful Frank, especially because of your "low tech" studio gear. Love it and keep 'em coming.

Love this kinda stuff Frank. So much of what I find online is played at such breakneck pace that my brain can't even keep up listening to it. Your stuff is mellow and relaxing. You are exactly the kind of player I would like to be.

These are terrific. Anyone else as stumped as I am to decide on a favorite. I thought it was "Tennessee Blues," but then so many of the others are great, too.

    Thanks, Frank.
