Weymann Bowlback $59

This looks quite nice- the tailpiece alone would set you back $59 and then the tuners are very nice too but I hope somebody buys this as it might make a nice instrument to play. I don't know if the top is a bit wavy and moving the bridge from its time-honoured and presumably correct spot is an ill omen.

When I posted it up here it had been listed for a couple of days but I think it was probably a good buy and somebody went for it quickly. I would have been tempted if it has been an international sale- but luckily I was not subject to temptation!

Ha! I would have been tempted if I saw it earlier. But then again, I need another mandolin like I need a hole in the head (as my Dad used to say).
But then even again, I don't have any bowlbacks.
