The 2021 mandolin crop has taken a long time to harvest, but they're beginning to see come through. Sometimes I think it would be handy to have some help around here...
One snag I hit was last year, the mandola cases I used to use for the extra large Celtic mandolins I make, changed. They no longer fitted. So I had to look for alternatives. They came in the shape of a heavy duty rifle case with custom water jet cut foam.
The foam looks nice but I still prefer the look of "teddy bear hide," so Mrs Forster has been very kind and spent some time stitching teddy bear pelts together -
