Re: Lyre Mandolin- S S Stewart- Martin?
The styling appears to be Martin-like but the fit and finish looks a little suspect to me. I would expect to see clay dot finger board markings or markers other than round on the fretboard and unless the bridge is misplaced it should be above the cant. I guess anything is possible but honestly it lacks the delicacy of a Martin in my eyes. I do however have a well worn eraser on my pencil.
I'm not sure that Martin made all SS Stewart branded mandolins.
