Yes, they are. Along with tenor banjos. Although the old ones seem to be of less interest than the ones being made now, at least for the moment.
And pre 1960's Martin and Gibson flat top guitars are selling faster than the well known shops can post them.
And what's wrong with joking about the unexplained spontaneous proliferation of any kind of musical instrument?

Taking a big step back. I don't want to release what I was offering in the trade. It fits me very well and I really like it. Need a lot more time with it before I ever think of letting it go.
So I'm done here. Need to keep available funds for the Beard Road O Phonic coming up in 6 months.
That was close......real close.

Lol. I reckon it will be gone by end of week.

Doesn't John Jorgenson play a pre Flatiron F5-L?
I like the distressed look of this F5-L. I've bought and sold to Bob Smakula, a great guy. Always fun to visit his shop. I own an '81 F5-L and an '03 Fern. I like them both but the '81 just has that something extra that makes me prefer it. I wouldn't want to part with either. I would like to check out the '91 at Bob's shop but just out of curiosity. Seems like a good price to me.
