Hello everyone!
Has anybody else had the privilege of catching the Mike Marshall, Sam Bush, Edgar Meyer, George Meyer tour?
I caught the show in Greensboro, NC and it was just amazing and inspiring. Mike played guitar, mandolin, a 10-string mandola/mandolin (mandolinola? lol) and violin, sometimes even changing instruments during the song.
Sam played mostly mandolin and some violin.
Really impressed with George Meyer on the violin as well. He may be the lesser known of these other masters, but he can definitely keep up!
Most of the tunes were off the Short Trip Home record. They also added Big Sciota with a nice twin part from Mike and Sam, Monroe's Tennessee Blues, George and Edgar played a duet on one of George's tunes and then Sam and Mike played a duet of Lonesome Moonlight Waltz/Lonesome Fiddle Blues, and Mike played a blazing Desvairada.
Sam played "Hoss" while Mike played his Loar. The 10-string fan fret I believe is a Lawrence Smart.
Here is a more professionally written review from a previous show:

Can't recommend enough to go out and see this if it is anywhere close by!
