Default Dark glue in in center seam

Hi folks, I was looking for information (and found an old thread from 2013-14) about dark glue lines on spruce tops. I didn't really see any resolution to the issue that seemed to have plagued a few builders. The top I am carving has a dark line and having recently done some furniture refinishing and needing to use Oxalic acid, I wonder if any have had success using it to diminish the dark seam line?

dark seam line may be just thick layer of (semi)transparent glue in gap between two pieces of wood. You cannot bleach that. Well joined pieces should show no glue line at all and standard wood glues don't stain wood when joint is tight.

What Adrian said, a perfect joint is a perfect joint. There should be no glue line.

Either cut it apart and re do the joint or throw it away and start fresh.

Any perceived time and materials loss now will be nothing compared to the whole joint failing three years from now when the instrument is finished.

Oxalic Acid will bleach the wood and not do much to the glue. It will make it look even worse.
