Default Bury Me Beneath the Willow - Song breakdown, charts, and notes

Hey all, I wrote up a song breakdown for one of my favorite tunes, Bury Me Beneath the Willow. I based this off my favorite recording of the tune, the Skaggs and Rice version. I figured I'd post it here for anyone that is interested in learning more on that tune.

Very nice work Matt. Thanks for putting this up. That's my favorite version also.

Excellent work. This is a great project. And likewise, one of my favorite albums and versions of this song.

    Hi mbruno,
Mike Marshall does a deep dive on Ricky's playing this song over on Artistworks. Mike was living with Tony in Berkeley when "Skaggs and Rice" was recorded at Arch Street Studios in 1979, as he recalls. He sees the intro differently from you, starting on the second bar. It's in the "Messages From Your Teacher" section, November 10, 2015. Have a look if you can; it makes an interesting comparison with yours.
    Cheers,
    Bill

Cool! I'd love to see it but I don't have an Artistworks account
