    If interested in a portugese APC
    Brown dog banjos have the one listed in Hobgoblin for about £50 cheaper

    It is solid wood plus has a radiused fretboard.
    Seems to be in all the Hobgoblin stores so if you could get to one you could try it and if suits you then buy from brown dog or see if Hobgoblin would discount it.

    The spec says that mando has a nut 1-9/16" wide. That's very wide compared to most bluegrass mandolins. You might like that or not, but I think you'd have to try it.

    I think the spec is wrong and is for their Mandola. The length in the spec is a whopping 96 cm for instance!
    But I have seen the one in Hobgoblin and does have a radiused fretboard and maybe a smidgen wider neck than some.
